JobWriter (jobwriter.io) is a B2B SaaS recruitment platform operated by McFrank, Inc. (“JobWriter,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). JobWriter uses behavioral science and IO psychology to help employers generate behaviorally targeted job postings and candidate screening questions.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you access or use our platform. JobWriter does not receive, access, or store any information submitted by candidates in response to postings or screening questions generated through our platform. All candidate interactions occur directly within our clients’ own systems.
By using JobWriter, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you register or use the platform as a client, we may collect:
- Company name, billing address, and contact information
- Account credentials (name, email, password)
- Job role details, department descriptions, and organizational data you input to generate postings
- Subscription and billing information (processed through our payment provider)
2.2 Automatically Collected Data
When you use the platform, we automatically collect:
- IP address and device/browser type
- Usage logs, session data, and feature interaction data
- Performance and error diagnostics

- Deliver, operate, and improve the JobWriter platform
- Generate behaviorally targeted job postings and screening questions
- Integrate with your ATS to deliver generated content

We do not use your data to train AI models for third parties, and we do not sell any data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. ATS Integration and Third-Party Systems
JobWriter integrates with client-designated ATS systems solely to deliver generated job postings and screening questions. When you authorize an ATS integration:
- We push generated content to your ATS — we do not pull, receive, or store any data that candidates submit through it
- Any candidate interactions, applications, or responses are handled exclusively within your ATS environment
- Data governance for candidate activity within your ATS is governed by your agreement with your ATS vendor
6. Data Retention
We retain account and platform usage data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting privacy@jobwriter.io.
7. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These include encrypted data transmission, access controls, and regular security reviews.
No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for breaches that result from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
